Action Industries manufactureand sells Commercial Window Frame Kits in multiple color, size, and thickness options so you can get a customizable product with a superior design. Whether you purchase in bulk as a garage door manufacturer or only buy what you need to cut out for new windows, or need to replace broken/deteriorated windows, Action’s new offering can support you.

Easy Kit Installation

Action’s window kits include everything needed for a successful installation. Screws are included along with instructions and a paper stencil template for an accurate installation outline. Our window kits are similar to commonly seen market designs and match standard door sizes to make drop-in replacements easy. Our kits include alignment tabs for easy glass and frame insertion. For our ribbed steel exterior frames, the frame to section sealant is applied to the contour of the rib pattern to create a superior seal not used by similar products on the market. The sealant and ridges work together to create a durable seal that is long-lasting.

Versatile Compatibility

Designed to accommodate various commercial garage doors, our window kits fit ribbed, flush, and microgroove door styles. Whether dealing with insulated or uninsulated steel doors, these American-made kits won't disappoint

The exterior and interior frames come in black and white industry standard colors. The interior has various thickness options to accommodate glazing and section thicknesses. Countersunk holes are also present for flat-head screw assembly.

Durable and Weather-Resistant

Our window kits are built to withstand extreme conditions for a long-lasting lifespan. Each ribbed frame includes an integrated sealant channel around the rib that creates an extra tight seal. This enhancement over other industry windows provides exceptional insulation to keep air infiltration outside along with rain, snow, and other elements. The window frame’s UV light resistance can withstand intense summer heat and won’t warp or fade from direct exposure.

Installation Instructions

Installing Action's USA-made window kits is easy! See below:

  1. First, measure the door thickness where the window will be installed. The thickness of the window should measure 1/16" – 1/8" less than the door thickness. Doing so creates a gap (1/16" – 1/8") between the glass and back frame (figure 1). The gap is needed to allow the sealant to fully compress during installation without causing excess tension on the glass.
  2. Next, tighten the screws snugly but do not overtighten, as doing so will cause breakage of the frame and/or glass, which can occur weeks or months after installation. The first four screws should be installed in the sequence shown (figure 2) to minimize potential glass breakage.
  3. The sealant provided is designed to keep moisture out; but due to inconsistencies of some door skins, you should always check to ensure there is a proper seal between the window frame and door panel. Sometimes, an extra bit of caulking may be necessary.
