15-inch Spring Bumper Set, Torpedo

HA030-00-H Torpedo Bumper Sets from Action Industries mount to horizontal tracks on overhead doors to prevent over traveling and to keep the cables tight. These pusher spring bumpers are 15-inches long with a 6-inch spring travel when they compress and extend. Spring bumper sets stop the door from over-traveling the rails, preventing the cables from losing tension or slipping off the torsion drums. When the door opens it presses against bumper sets and compresses the springs to bring the door to a gentle stop. When closing, the springs push the door forward to close more easily, putting less stress on the garage door opener. Torpedo bumper sets are equipped with a 12-gauge steel bracket designed to accept 3/8“ bolts and the springs have an approximate compression of 10 lbs/inch.
