Product Description
The LiftMaster CPS is designed to connect monitored photo eyes to non-monitored commercial operators. This kit includes CPS-U monitored emitter and receiver units along with the CPICARD interface module, allowing proper integration with legacy or non-monitored control systems. It provides vehicle-detection functionality across door openings up to 45', making it a practical solution for commercial and industrial sectional door applications.
The system projects an infrared beam across the vehicle path. When the beam is interrupted, a signal is sent to open the door (OPEN function only). Monitoring is limited from the photo eyes or edge device to the interface module and does not qualify as a fully monitored safety protection system.
