This video walks you through the steps to program a Homelink system to a Security+ 3.0 Garage Door Opener. We are seeing many people using an old method of programming Homelink by pressing the Learn button on the Garage Door Opener. This antiquated process will not work with Security+ 3.0 Garage Door Openers at all, and will not work with most Garage Door Openers manufactured in recent years leading up to Security+ 3.0. It is best to follow the instructions at the video link above that utilize the remote control.
