The PowerMaster Model T Motor is a high starting torque, continuous duty industrial type, that is guarded from overload by a current sensing or thermal type overload device. The Model T motor controller is a heavy duty, full voltage, across the line, magnetic reversing contractor that is mechanically and electrically intertwined. The electrical components connected in a NEMA 1 enclosure integral to the operator. A transformer is provided to lessen control voltage to 24 VAC. There are separate terminal strips provided for connection to power supply lines and all control devices. The operator is wired for an open/close/stop control station. The PowerMaster Model T Drawbar Operator is for use on Standard Lift Sectional Doors. The primary reduction is by heavy duty V-Belt Drive while the secondary reduction is a chain and sprocket arrangement. The Model T motor is continuous duty industrial type guarded from overload by a current sensing or thermal type overload device. The Model T control circuit gives immediate reverse motor wiring on single phase operators. Positive chain driven, rotary type limit switches are implemented to limit full open and close travel of door. Limit switch change is not affected by removal of motor or by manual operation of door. A changeable torque limiting clutch is given to prevent overloading of the operator. A spring set solenoid released brake is provided on 3/4hp and 1hp units. A disconnect arm for manual operation of the door is supplied in case of power failure. The final reduction and drive is a heavy duty roller chain and sprockets. The drive shaft is supported by oilite bearings and is a minimum of 3/4" in diameter.
