Safety Edge Kit for 14' Commercial Garage Doors

This safety edge kit for 14-ft. doors mounts to the bottom of a commercial garage door to sense obstructions and reverse or stop movement to prevent damage and keep people safe. A safety edge assembly includes pneumatic tubing inserted into a doors bottom weather seal and an interior or exterior air switch. When the pressurized tube makes contact with anything in the door's path it triggers the air switch and sends a signal to the operator to stop or reverse movement.
