Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What type of customers benefit from the A-TECH delivery service?
Customers that benefit from the service typically have stocking needs and place large recurring orders. These customers are looking for damage-free deliveries, a consistent transportation fee, and communication from our driver with ETA updates so they can be prepared to receive the delivery. This brings a peace of mind that may not come with LTL deliveries in regards to product condition, communication and arrival.
What types of products are delivered?
Common products that are delivered on the transport trucks may include long length, heavy, odd-sized products such as stop molding, hanger angle, retainers, struts, LiftMaster operators and rails, and all other fragile products that require great care during handling. We pride ourselves on the full process from loading the trucks in a manner that makes unloading efficient, and having drivers who are there to help ensure your order is delivered correctly.
Will your transport truck deliver products to my state?
Our routes cover the majority of the continental United States (east of the Rocky Mountains), and will be expanding to include the west coast.
Is there an order minimum or fees for delivery/transportation?
There is a $1,500 order minimum for the truck delivery and a flat-rate transportation fee when the order minimum is met. The fee has less fluctuation than a fuel surcharge that others in the industry may charge. If you have an order for truck delivery that comes in under $1,500, there is an additional ‘under minimum’ fee applied to the order. With the A-TECH delivery service there is no limit to how much you can order with each order, and there are no added charges for long length product or total order weight. This gives our customers flexibility to control their costs and map the frequency of their truck deliveries.
Where do your shipments originate from?
Currently our warehouses in Palmer, PA and St. Louis, MO are actively distributing product with white-glove service via transport trucks. The trucks also pick-up products from 5 other strategically located warehouses across the country that include garage door parts historically offered by Action Industries.
Will I receive reminders on when I need to place an order to get on a scheduled delivery route?
Yes, we send out email reminders to customers the week prior to delivery for our two dedicated delivery routes. Please see our full 2025 truck delivery schedules below and contact us to learn if your shipping location is on one of our A or B routes.
What size deliveries are handled by your transport trucks?
We can deliver small, partial, or full truckload shipments.
