The LiftMaster LM56A Proximity Reed Switch works seamlessly with Dock Door Operator Model DDO8900W to enhance safety and efficiency in high-traffic environments. When a truck restraint or dock leveler is engaged, the reed switch's magnetic field is interrupted, triggering the Dock Door Operator to open. The hermetically sealed internal reed switch, protected by a PVC shock absorber and housed in solid aluminum, ensures durability. Installation wires are safeguarded by a 24-inch stainless steel armored cable, with the magnet also enclosed in heavy-duty aluminum.
