Garage Door Pulley Clevis Straps

Sheaves and sheave straps are essential hardware for extension spring garage doors. Sheaves are grooved wheels with a bushing that spins to lift the garage door with cables. Sheave straps are U-Shaped metal pieces pre-cut with holes for installation on the sheave. Sheave Straps hook to garage door springs and mount to the brackets on the wall acting as a fixed pulley.
