The EMX LRS-DB-100 Direct Burial Sensor is a magnetoresistive vehicle detection sensor designed for use with the EMX LRS-C1 Loop Replacement System. Utilizing changes in the Earth’s magnetic field, this sensor detects the presence of ferrous vehicles without the need for traditional inductive loops. Its compact design supports efficient installation with minimal surface disruption, requiring only a single saw cut for below-grade applications.
Engineered for flexibility, the sensor can be installed in vertical or horizontal orientations and is suitable for both above- and below-ground use. Its sealed, rugged construction provides reliable performance in harsh environments, while integration with DETECT-ON-STOP technology helps reduce false activations in high-traffic or confined areas.
