Product Description
Storm Shield by Action Industries is an American-made garage door bottom threshold made from PVC with easy installation in mind. Once properly installed on the garage floor, the seal prevents moisture, wind-driven rainwater, snow, dust, dirt and leaves from entering under a garage door. This universal garage door threshold seal also keeps out insects, rodents, and snakes that can infest a garage or warehouse.
We designed Storm Shield to have a width of 3 ¼”, a 2” flap, 45 degree hump, and multiple lengths to choose from to keep your client’s stored valuables safe.

While Storm Shield has not been sent to be certified as ADA compliant, they do fall into the ADA guidelines for thresholds. Section 404.2.5 states that thresholds, if provided at doorways, should be a maximum height of 1/2 inch. The drawings above show the ½” height on each.
